Marketing Management 2015 brought JOY to both participants and organizers
This year's Marketing Management focused on How to return joy to marketing. Representative research, attended by 21% of the participants, confirmed that this topic is very relevant for the Czech and Slovak marketers. Their feedback indicates that the organizers have managed to prepare a program that received the second best mark (1.88) in the 16-year history of the Conference. As organizers we were pleased also by the excellent atmosphere of the event (1.35) and overall good mark for organization (1.22).
The best presentation was the story about a shepherd, which became the social hero and greatly helped to Vodafone brand in the Romanian market. Its author, Catalin Dobre from McCann, received a series of positive comments, appreciating the inspiring nature, campaign benefits and, in particular, "really joyful" character of the campaign. Excellent feedback and average mark of 1.48 was given also to the key speaker Peter Field, the British consultant and co-author of the research on IPA Effectiveness Awards. The participants welcomed the "professional presentation based on sharp data", documenting that campaigns working with emotions bring not only joy, but also long term profit.
The topic of Marketing Management 2015 no doubt worked and we can only agree with one of the respondents who expressed himself in the research: "I picked up here joy and inspiration, both for private life, as well as for the work, and I am ready to venture into something new." We share these positive feelings and therefore started to work intensively on a completely new project for the marketing community – the Conference Brand Management, which will take place already on 23 September 2015.
